LORI SAMERDAK

Director/Teacher

Lori Samerdak has a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Business Management and a Masters in Business Administration. After working in the corporate world for many years, Lori took a break to raise her family. She was later led to teaching, and has taught at each age level in our program since joining the staff in 2009. Lori is the director of the preschool and is also known as “Mrs. Lori” as the lead teacher in the Bees morning classroom.

Lori and her husband David have four children, all alumni of NCP! Although three of her kids are now adults, Lori is still very busy attending sporting and competition dance events for her youngest who is a senior this year. Raised on a farm, she has a great appreciation of the land. She loves to share her enthusiasm for animals and plants with her class. Lori enjoys teaching ecology to the students and exposing them to the beauty that God shows us each day!

Lori also serves as a Parent Mentor for the Woodridge Local School District, working with families who have children with disabilities and connecting them to community resources.

Nora Davis

Teacher

Nora Davis began teaching at NCP when our doors first opened in 1995. She brings a heart for children and commitment to ministry to our program. Nora, originally trained as a nurse, furthered her education and received her associates in Child Development. “Mrs. Davis” leads our Bunnies Class where she shares her passion for science and art history.

In addition to showing her love of Christ to her preschool students, Nora also serves as the Childrens’ Ministry Director here at NUMC. Along with weekly Sunday school programming, Nora produces an amazing VBS program each summer.

She and Korky, her husband of 37 years, are blessed with three grown children and four grandchildren.

JULIE EIZEMBER

Teacher

Julie Eizember joined the NCP staff in 2016 after sending her daughter through our program. Before becoming a stay-at-home mom, Julie ran a before and after school program for the YMCA. She has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from Bowling Green State University.

Julie and her husband Ed are raising two girls and love to cheer them on at their extra-curricular events. Julie is interested in better health through nutrition and participates in her local CSA program. She and her girls enjoy visiting local farms and especially berry picking.

“Mrs. Julie” assists in the morning Bees class and leads the afternoon Bees class. She loves to promote literacy through art.

Dawn White

Teacher

Dawn White joined our program in 2018. She has a degree in Psychology from Ursuline College, has worked with developmentally delayed adults, and also ran a family day care for many years.

She and her husband have three adult children with the youngest beginning college this fall. All three of her children are NCP alumni.

Dawn plays the piano and guitar, enjoys sewing, walking her dog and cheering her children on in all their endeavors!

You will find “Mrs. Dawn” sharing her musical talents with students as she assists in the Birds and Bees classrooms when often plays fun songs on her guitar for the children.

Jacqueline Doyle

Teacher

Jacqueline Doyle joined our staff for the 2021 school year. She is a graduate of Bowling Green State University and certified by the North American Montessori Center as an Early Childhood teacher. Jacqueline ran Little Wonders Montessori Preschool from her home for six years.

“Mrs. Jacqueline” leads our Birds class integrating montessori style teachings with our play based program.

Jacqueline and her husband Keith are raising three children in Cuyahoga Falls. They are involved in family ministry at their church in Tallmadge. In her spare time, Jacqueline enjoys being outside, camping, and painting.

Emily Fronk

Teacher

Emily Fronk joined our program in 2021. She graduated from the University of Akron with her Bachelors in Family and Child Development. She worked in a Goddard School before being a stay at home mom. She and her husband, Jesse, have grown up in Cuyahoga Falls and are raising their three children and her two dogs here as well. In her spare time, you will find Emily crafting.

“Mrs Emily” assists in the Bunnies class. She enjoys being silly and animated as she shares her love for books with the students.
